The Xinyi District in Taipei has been for long time one of the most visited areas in the city with a huge offer of good restaurants, high end fashion shops, chic bars and big cinemas.

Babylon creates a decoration style with a very European atmosphere. The pure white design and the jungle environment of the day decoration is combined with the colorful neon lights and the city skyline of the night. Here you can clearly see the full picture of the heart of Taipei.
As quick as you get on the rooftop&#38;nbsp;your mood will begin to change with a more suitable and happy vibe,&#38;nbsp;all your worries and stress will starting to disappear leaving room for a good weave of music, friends and memorable moments.

One of the greatest views of the Taipei 101 building?&#38;nbsp;Being located in the 11th floor of the Att for Fun mall has some advantages and one of them is that Costa Blanca is the "closest" sky club to 101 building in Taiwan and one of the very ones where you can see it in its entire form. Such a stunning view of the iconic structure. and definitely a difficult spot to book during the famous end year fireworks celebration.

During the summer of last year 2020 Hidden Floor released their first apparel collection with some basic pieces featuring the oversized HF logo in neon green. The launch took place in July at B1 with one of the regular Hidden Floor Techno parties , little we expected that it would be one of the last parties downstairs due to the Covid-19 situation around the world.Ben Wolley , Jesse Chen (Pleasure always brings pain), Fabio River and Alan AKA Sancho played all night with sets varying from Minimal House to Deep Progressive Techno.&#38;nbsp;
At present the team behind Hidden Floor is working in new clothing pieces that will be available this year online and preparing a come back in Taipei with new parties. During the time you can enjoy some of their sets in Soundcloud or Youtube

Just ten minutes walk from Taipei Songshan airport you will find Fujin Street, one of the most visited areas for cafes and boutiques in the recent years.
The Fujin Tree Group opened in this street one of their first popular cafes with a great interior design, Fujin Tree 353 Café.

We are back with a new discovery in the area of Zhongzhen, Taipei.
 
Chicaca originally started as a vintage toy shop with very rare products from the 90´s, the 80´s and more, recently the brand&#38;nbsp; decide to expand business with a coffee shop version of the store fully decorated with the same vintage vibes.

A lot of the decoration, furniture and toys they have in Chicaca are McDonald’s recovered pieces from the 80´s. They have a really interesting collection with stuffed Ronald McDonald’s, Happy Meal old toys and even an iconic pair of cookies inspired by the hamburger and chicken nugget characters.

They also developed a strong identity all around the shop with their Nugget /Potato character that they use as logo. 
Check this limited edition of it they made in vinyl! Quite cool!

The vintage McDonald’s seats are really amazing, we can guess those are not easy to find nowadays, specially outside the United States. 
Our readers born in the 80’s will remember seeing some of this at the McDonals store back in the days.

Harbor Market, a&#38;nbsp;Plant-based convenience store and cafe focused on healthy food and reducing waste has recently opened its doors.

Full of fiber, folate, Vitamin C and antioxidants. A nice meal to start the day with energy.

We choose a coconut almond milk from their fridge display to accompany the Beetroot hummus toast. 
It had no dairy, gluten, soy and preservatives.

Another detail we loved about Harbor Market is the natural light terrace where you can enjoy a morning of reading or work in the computer while having breakfast. If you are afraid of the hot they have a proper air conditioner there!

Every time we discovered a new local brand in Taiwan we are super excited to share it with our audience, but this time, is even more special as the products we bring you today really left us with giant open eyes and a jaw dropping.
EYECANDLE was founded in 2012 in Taipei as a studio, mixing hand-crafted wax candles with a unique artistic vision and very fine design. Since then the company has been working hard in developing new products and taking their candles to the next level.

Today EYECANDLE has evolved into a very promising project with diferent products and collaborations, including a range of room sprays, fragances candles, body perfumes, incense holders and even a collaboration with Star Wars (Go check it this one :O).

In the best-seller products we found the classic glass jar candle that comes in different smells/flavors including Fig, ORE, IceTea, Civet, Leather Sofa, Yard, Religious Cedar and many others.

One of their signature candles are the super realistic animal-head wax candles. It´s incredible to see the level of detail in this candles, making them almost a decoration art pieces.You will fine different options of dogs and cats , each with a different weight and shapes.

EYECANDLE not only provide home goods but also body perfume for their clients. Some of their fragances are very interesting&#38;nbsp; including, Ice Tea, Apple Peony, Campfire, Cherry Cola, Oolong Tea and many more that will surprise you.
They each have a metal ball on the top for easy application.

And one product we couldn´t forget, the room spray frangances that complete the home vibe with similar scents.

With the recent Covid-19 situation EYECANDLE launched a mini hand sanitizer that works perfectly when you are out of home.


Compared&#38;nbsp; normal gel hand sanitizers, this one comes in a glass bottle with an alcohol solution and a dispenser system that makes it very easy to use. We have been using it for a while and is impressive how long the bottle last! You could be using it for months.Also their smell are very unique, in our case we tried the cedar wood Jojoba oil and was super nice.

As everything else in EYECANDLE creativity is a key point in their branding and proof of it is theirs business cards.
With two different versions, each has a tiny volcanic rock attached in the middle that served as one of their frangances samples. very original in terms of aesthetic but also useful for the clients to test the aromas.
